Baringo County Senator Gideon Moi spoke at Kipkuyang in Eldama-Ravine Sub-County, Baringo County, on November 15, 2014, during a fundraiser supporting women’s projects. He urged the Kenya Defence Forces to slow down operations in Tiaty, stating that the repulsive forces were turning cruel and harming innocent women and children. Senator Moi emphasized that his mandate is to uphold integrity within the county and condemned the collective punishment of the Pokot community as a barbaric act.
