The East African Trading Co. Ltd. has taken over the regional agency for L. M. Ericsson Telephone Co. and established a new department in Nairobi’s Industrial Area. Bjorn Skjolaas (pictured), a Norwegian engineer with experience in the British Post Office, heads the department as manager and resident chief engineer. The new complex on Leeds Road includes a workshop and training school aimed at expanding the technical staff and supporting operations in Uganda and Tanzania.
