Wildlife and Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala during the Dignity Housing project unveil on March 8, 2021, a project spearheaded by Maniago Safaris Limited, Stand-Up Shout Out and the Luigi Footprints Foundation. The Dignity Housing Project seeks to replace tented accommodation with 25 fabricated 20 feet containers with kitchenette, mounted beds, shelves, and washrooms at the city park, declared a rhino sanctuary in 1996, with 72 rhino force rangers, distributed all over the park in 22 teams offering 24-hour protection to the endangered species, none of which was poached in 2020.
