East African Heads of State, Jomo Kenyatta (Kenya), Julius Nyerere (Tanzania) and Milton Obote (Uganda) hold a summit in Nairobi and reaffirm their desire for the continuation and the strengthening of the Common Services and the Common Market and agreed on a full-scale conference planned later in the month with top Cabinet Ministers from all partner nations.
