Environment Assistant Minister Prof. Margaret Kamar addresses the press during a meeting organized by the Regional Centre for Stability, Security, and Peace in Africa at a hotel in Eldoret town on September 24, 2010. The meeting aimed to sensitize women leaders on land issues in the constitution. Swedish Ambassador Ann Dismorr, the chief guest, called for the speedy and full implementation of the constitution. Kamar noted that the land issue was misunderstood during the referendum campaigns and emphasized that women would benefit.
