April 13, 2003: Plans are complete to export to the United Kingdom an art collection owned by one of Kenya’s founding.'” nationalists, Mr. Joseph Murumbi’s “Africana” art collection – which is said to contain priceless artefacts and literature – is already at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport awaiting to be flown to London. Mr. Murumbi, was an art lover of note and collected artefacts from all over the world. He sold part of his collection, which is now at the Kenya National Archives.
