Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi addresses health workers at the county headquarters after they downed tools on August 14, 2019. The health workers later resumed their duties after they were promised salaries by Tuesday next week. Governor Murungi said they had money in the County Revenue Fund but could not access it due to delays in passage of CARA.
