September 19, 1993: Ford Kenya’s sacked secretary-general, Mr. Gitobu Imanyara, quits the party while First National Vice- Chairman Paul Muite (Kikuyu), Mr. Kiraitu Murungi (Imenti South) and Mr. Farah Maalim (Lagdera) resigns their party posts but said they were “at the moment” not planning to quit the party.
