On August 31, 2019, Opposition leader Raila Odinga joined other leaders in a jig during the opening of Ugunja Technical and Vocational College in Siaya County. He congratulated the Siaya County Assembly for rejecting the Punguza Mzigo Bill and urged them to prepare to pass the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Bill, which he said would benefit the entire nation.
