Description

President William Ruto makes his address during the 89th National Youth Service (NYS) passing-out parade ceremony at the service Paramilitary Academy in Gilgil, Nakuru County, on August 28, 2025. He ordered the Interior ministry to hire 4,000 NYS recruits into next year’s police recruitment drive. At the same time, he said recruitment to service will be significantly scaled up from the current 18,000 young people to 100,000 in the next three years.
