The Government announcement decontrolled the prices of salt tubes, galvanized iron sheets and cold rolled steel coils. The removal of the items from the price control schedule was made in a special Kenya Gazette supplement dated last Friday, February 5 this allows manufacturers adjust their prices according to market forces.
