Description

April 19, 1995: Ford-K Chairman Mr. Michael Kijana Wamalwa (Left) offers to resign as the Opposition leader if anyone proves he was compromised in his work as Public Account Committee (PAC) Chairman. Mr Wamalwa, who was responding to Members’ debate on the PAC report, admitted it had caused division in FORD-K and said he would start reconciling party members. Here, they are seen with Ford-Asili Secretary General Martin Shikuku at Nyayo National Stadium for Jamhuri day celebrations in 1995.
