Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale addressing residents of Ikolomani at Isulu in Kakamega county on 12th November 2025 following alleged eviction directive by the government to pave space for Shanta Gold miners to take over their land for mining company. Khalwale dismissed eviction of locals saying that he will not allow greedy leaders to take advantage of Ikolomani people for their benefit.
