Description

October 8, 1960 —Mr. Rawson Macharia, the key prosecution witness at the Kapenguria six trial in 1952 is released from prison after serving a 21-month sentence for giving false evidence against Jomo Kenyatta, leading to the conviction of Kenyatta and five others on April 8, 1953, for allegedly managing the Mau Mau.
