Mr. Colin W. Hood, Managing Director of Insurance Holdings Africa Ltd., has been appointed to the boards of two associated British insurance broking companies, Hogg Robinson and Gardner Mountain (Insurance) Ltd., and Hogg Robinson and Gardner Mountain (Re-Insurance) Ltd. Mr. Hood, a Kenyan, is chairman of Hogg Robinson and Colin Hood (K) Ltd. and Executive Director of the East African-controlled Insurance Brokers of East Africa Ltd. His extensive experience in East African insurance will now be available to the UK companies on a worldwide basis. After four years in Kenya, he established Colin Hood Insurance Ltd. in 1950, which later amalgamated with Hogg Robinson and Capel Cure (EA) Ltd. in 1963 to form Hogg Robinson and Colin Hood (K) Ltd.
