Senator of Kakamega Boni Khalwale and his personal bodyguard when they appeared in court before Kakamega senior resident magistrate Samuel Wahome on 23rd May 2016 following IEBC demonstration in Kakamega. He was released on personal bond of Ksh.100,000 and told to appear in court on 27th May 2016 after completion of investigations.
